Exterior Wash Protocol

Our exterior wash framework is designed to safely remove motorway grime, road salt, and environmental fallout without inflicting micro-scratches onto the paintwork.

Phase 1: Wheels & Pre-Wash

We begin with the dirtiest areas. Non-acidic wheel cleaners are utilized alongside dedicated brushes to clear brake dust. Following this, a thick layer of snow foam is applied to the entire bodywork. This dwells, encapsulating dirt and safely dragging it off the vehicle before any physical contact occurs.

Phase 2: Safe Contact Wash

Using a multi-bucket methodology with grit guards and plush microfiber wash mitts, the remaining film is gently agitated. We use highly lubricated shampoos that help minimize friction.

Phase 3: Targeted Removal

Addressing specific UK environmental issues like tree sap, bug splatter from summer motorway driving, and embedded road salt requires specific chemical applications rather than aggressive scrubbing.

Phase 4: Drying & Finish

Water is removed using forced air and heavy GSM microfiber drying towels to prevent water spotting. Tyres are dressed to restore a matte, factory-fresh appearance.

Routine Maintenance Advice

Washing frequency depends heavily on vehicle usage and storage. A vehicle parked outdoors or driven heavily on motorways may benefit from fortnightly washes, while garage-kept vehicles may require less frequent intervention. Regular washing helps prevent environmental contaminants from degrading existing protective layers.
